I was thinking about something this morning. Why do we save all the good stuff?
The pretty dishes are for company. The nice candle is for a special occasion. The new outfit is waiting for somewhere important to go. And somehow we keep saving things for a life we're already living.
So use the good mug. Light the candle on a Tuesday. Wear the outfit even if you're only going to lunch. Put the flowers on the table just because you like looking at them.
Not everything beautiful needs an occasion. Sometimes being here is the occasion.

Father, thank You for today, just as it is. Help me see the good You've already put in front of me, and enjoy it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
